RG1550 pick up switch...

Hehe I know u get this a lot but you seem to be pretty good at refering pick ups to people (and seeing as I wont be able to try the pups ill just hafta trust u...) Anyways, I am going for the RG1550 but I know i will switch out the pups, but to wich ones? I know that PAF's and FRED's are good together and I want something that will be good all around for rock and some nice clean tones too. I want this p-up to be good with harmonics (satch squeels ect..), so wich ones should I get? Should I get a single coil replacement too? And if it helps I will be doing direct recording with a J-Station...

for versatility:

neck:
paf pro
fred
air norton

bridge:
tone zone
steve's special
super distortion

as for single coils, most people here love the dimarzio blue velvet. i personallt love the rio grande vintage tallboy. also i have come to really like the fender 57,62 singles. i would also to recommend the dimarzio cruiser and duncan vintage rails.
