Should I put the Crunch Lab and LiquiFire in my RG750?

I have the Crunch Lab and LiquiFire in my Sterling JP50 with a basswood body and they sound awesome. If I put them in the RG750 will they sound similar?

Also, how do you get specific colors? Do you just specify when you order?

My JP50 sounds good with clean or distortion. Can I expect similar results in the RG750? Will they cut through a mix? Also, since the RG750 has a single coil in the middle, what pickup would go well with these two? There are so many pickups out there and I figure rather than try new ones I'll just stick with ones that I know I like the sound of, at least this guitar will.

Well the guitars are made of the same woods aren't they? That would probably suggest that the pickups would sounds pretty similar, would they not?

Usually when I try to use foolproof logic like that it doesn't work... lol! Usually it dumb things I overlook... but the devil is sometimes in the details! You might check the capacitors on tone controls, etc, while you are in there. If you like they way your JP50 sounds and are looking for similar sound from the RG750. Just a thought.

As far as colors--order from a seller that offers different colors.
most major online shops have them.

The tone and volume controls are going to be 500K in both. The capacitor on the tone knob is likely the same. This capacitor doesn't really do anything when the tone is on ten anyway. The bridge and nut are different, but overall you'll get a similar sound.

After playing with a Jem 70V which has the same materials as my RG, basswood body, Edge trem, etc., I decided to get Evolutions instead. Well, I just ordered the bridge pickup so far but I'll get the rest, too.
