Suggestions for new middle pickup

HI, just wondering if anybody could give me a suggestion on a new middle pickup for my s470. Right now im using a air norton in the neck a virtual vintage solo in the middle and a tone zone in the bridge and i dont really like the vintage solo anymore, it dosnt seem to have the right amount of balls for me. I guess i need something a little heavier. Any thoughts?

Dimarzio Red Velvet, or maybe something like the Fast Track I or the Chopper if you like dual-blade humbuckers with the size of a single-coil like the Hot Rails.

I have heard good things about the Dimarzio HS single coils. I have also heard good things about the YJM series. Check 'em out!

what Mandrak said, or you can even try the Fast Track 1. HSs and YJMs are awesome pickups, but if you need medium to high output they're not the right choice, unless you play modded tube amps always cranked on 10.

Well the duncan hot rails is a great pickup but i know most of you dont like to mix your pickups. You could always try a mini tone zone in the middle as well though. lol. I think that would sound cool on a guitar like that

Thanks for the replys guys, i think im leaning towards the red velvet that Mandrak mentioned, a buddy of mine has one in his rg(i think thats what pup it is) and it sounds pretty sweet. The vintage solo has been good for about 2 years now but its finally got to go.
