Switching Magnets...

So... I switched magnets on a set of pickups... I took the ceramic pickup from an evolution and replaced it with the Alnico magnet on my Tone Zone. I like it. I am thinking bout switching the magnets from my D Activator X and Super 3... I like the Super 3, but want a lil more output. anybody have any experience with switching magnets?

Re: Switching Magnets...

Lonephantom did experience in switching magnets. I've only tried it on the Ibanez stock pickups

Swapping the V8's/V7's was the best thing to happen to those pups, because of the mag swap, I still have not changed the pups in my RG1570!

This - Stephen is the best thing that happened to Ibanez-related magnet swapping.
