Think im gonna get breeds for my 1570

Seems to be the top choice here for a basswood guitar, and I think they'll add the lower end needed for my Peavey XXX. But before I do, will this really be worth the money? Or will I not tell a difference to the v7/v8 much? Also, the v7 is a ceramic magnet I think, and is somewhat decent compared to the v8, but will the breed neck have the clarity of the v7? One more thing, I haven't decided on a middle single. What would work best with breeds and will work with the standard ibanez 5-way switch. Thanks. Btw feel free to talk me out of breeds but I'm thinkin they're the best all around choice at this point. Thanks

Would a red velvet go good with breeds? What about evo/evo2 thats my other consideration. Keep in mind I'm playing through a peavey xxx (similar to jsx), so those who know the amp can understand the frequencies I'm already working with.

I replaced the bridge V8 in my 1570 with a Seymour Duncan Invader, and now it really breathes fire. Your PeavyXXX would love it

Rock on!

Re: Think im gonna get breeds for my 1570

Ok so I worked some overtime so I could finally get the pickups. I'm still between the breeds and evo/evo2, my only concern is my amp (xxx) is too bright for the evos(?). The guitar now seems very bright with the v7/v8; I played a mexican fat strat one day through my amp and the bridge humbucker of the strat was about 10 shades darker than my v8.

Can someone on a side note give me a comparison between the v7 and s1 compared to the evo neck, breed neck, and blue velvet? thanks
