Tonezone Hum Problem

I installed a tonezone in my rg320fm and it hums.Before i install the tonezone i had a seymour duncan and didn't have any issues with hum.I am sure i did the wiring correctly(i even solder an extra wire from the baseplate to ground).Any ideas?

Did you connect red as the hot wire or black? Black is hot is for Seymour Duncan, red is for DiMarzio. Otherwise, check all your solder connections to make sure there are no cold solder joints.

I did red hot,black and white together,green and bare to ground.

Why did you solder an extra wire from the baseplate to ground though? I've never done that, don't have hum issues either.

Again check all your solder connections, there may be one that looks ok but isn't.

The hum stopped!I wired an extra wire from the baseplate to ground and i wired the green and bare seperately...
