Weird guitar pickup selection help

Hey this is my 2nd post on jemsite. My first was for pickup advice (thanks Alaskabat I ended up going with a breed set for my mm1) since that worked out well I think I can get more advice on my next guitar.

I'm building myself a custom strat with somewhat different specs, and because of this I'm trying to get some help. It is an alder strat body(hss), with a 6 hole tremolo, a mahogany neck (nice chunky les paul style- musikraft '59 profile) and a 24.75 inch scale.

I've decided on a super distortion in the bridge and im thinking dimarzio all three positions.

for the middle position i want something single coil-ish but since i do a lot of clean tapping and tap harmonics i want something a little bit fuller with great harmonics. the cruiser neck seems to fit this position (as opposed to the bridge since im really only playing clean on this pickup.)

In the neck I definitely want a humbucker type pickup. I intend to use the neck for jazz stuff so thats really important, but i also want something that can handle high gain shreddy legato stuff. at first i thought air norton S but I'm concerned that with shorter scale mahogany neck it might get muddy and not be clear with hi gain, so then i thought the pro track would be good. what do you guys think?
I believe i mentioned intend for this guitar to be able to play jazz, be able to shred, and just some good classic crunch.
sorry for such a long post but i wanted to give as much detail as possible so that you guys can give me as much help as you can

Re: Weird guitar pickup selection help

I should have been more clear in the title, the weird part is the guitar. I wish I could get some information from people who have experience with these pickups and what they think.

It will be liquid sounding, a bit nasal and very soft, but it won't be muddy or dark.

Re: Weird guitar pickup selection help

The Air Norton S doesn't have air technology, and it comes with a ceramic magnet. It's supposed to be more agressive than the DP193.

The S version won't be as soft as the real one. I consider the full-humbucker version soft because it combines low output, alnico magnet and air patent.
