What pickups would work in a JS1?

What pickups would work in a Ibanez JS1 for a more aggresive tone. I suspect the breed would be nice in the bridge as the PAFPro neck is quite nice. But the FREED in the bridge is a little weak imo. The JS i solid body, and i play it through a pod x3 live at the moment but will switch to a pod HD500. I would like to have more of a fat, heavy tone but also more screaming brigde sound and overtones. Also get a tone that could be heavy distorted but still come out clean-like clerance in the distortion, like play a open cord with distortion but still hear all the strings/tones clearly.

Thanks in advance.

It WAS DiMarios site. They used to have several sound clips of almost every pickup. The only drawback, was that they were from an art it's album tracks.

I'd go for the Dominion bridge, super tight and great clarity.

Thanks for the info, i did listen to Mark Morton playing with the pickups on youtube. Diden't really like the tone. Will try to look for more guitarists playing them to hear some more.

Do you play through a Mesa Boogie? It could have been that tone that wasn't to your liking. I'm not a big fan of his general tone, but I love the tone I get from the Dominons through my Blackstar dialed to a UK Marshall type tone.

+1

Mesa's are an acquired taste either you hate it or love it.

I've a set of Dominions in a S920 which sounds great through my Mesa Mark V.

I would not say that i dislike mesa's. It might just be his tone. Will try to listen to more samples of those pickups.
