If that's the case, you need some real help. wiring a guitar wrong won't result in a shock. There's something going on with your amp/power supply/ground.

Hey I know this is an old post but I'm having the same issues! I replaced the V7-V8 humbuckers on my RG550 with the Crunch lab and Liquifire set. They sound quite trebly and thin. I am really disappointed. Did you find a solution eventually? Would really appreciate it. Thanks!
