Wiring for Evos in RG1570 Quick question

I sent mi RG1570 to a tech to install an Evo bridge and a PAF Pro in the neck. I received the guitar but the sound isn't rigth, it so tiny, with no power and much treeble. I think that the guy screwed up with the wiring.. I need help!!

I have a little understanding about electronics so I just have a quick question.

-- He put the red wire in the pickup selector
-- He put black&withe together (series humbucking) but he soldered those two to the pickup selector..
-- Green&bare to ground..

So mi guess is:

- Red to hot pickup selector
- green to pickup selector
- black&withe together
- bare to bridge ground

Re: Wiring for Evos in RG1570 Quick question

the black and white DO go together and DO get soldered on the selector switch, as does the red, both green and bare go to ground, this enables the coil tap, (one half of humbucker with the middle single coil), I've got a tonezone in the bridge and an air norton in the neck of my 1570 so I can't comment on the sound of the evo but the paf pro should sound nice and fat, there are wiring diagrams you can download from the dimarzio site, the one you need is H-S-H, have a look inside the control cavity of the guitar and just check the wiring is the same as the diagram, don't panic it's easy
