X2N + TZ ?

hello,
I have a RG42FM who came with inf1 & 2 pickups.
I recently switched them to a X2N (bridge) and a Tone Zone (neck).
I really love the TZ but i'm not quite sure about the X2N.
What i want is a great, heavy & fat rythm tone.
Can i achieve this with the X2N ?
I play through a Traynor YCV80 tube amp, maybe the amp is not "heavy" enough? Any other advice to reach the kind of tone i want?

thx !!

I would try the Tone Zone in the bridge. It was designed as a bridge pickup to accomplish just that.

The X2N (I have one) is great for fast single note stuff, as long as you aren't tuning down. Since it has such a high output, it's less dynamic, so everything sounds nice and even (same volume).

Re: X2N + TZ ?

Put the Super Distortion in the bridge and find something with an even lower output for the neck.
