I'm very impressed that they've kept JP's switching in there. You don't often see four-conductor pickups and splitting options on those super-low-end guitars, especially given how difficult those three-way switches have been to find.

I want to see some specs on the new RG's. I as kinda hoping that Ibanez would bring out some new and different instruments but it seems they are pretty much the same. Oh well, maybe I will be proven wrong.

I've still got mucho work to do and I'm just starting on the RG page now, but there are about half of them online.

How the "offical" NAMM thread got designated in Gear and Equipment is beyond me, but it's not my site!

I still fell like poo and my hotel room is starting to look like a snot rag depository, but onward we trudge!

I put it here.

I figured it was the best place for it, since people will be looking at gear beyond just Ibanez.

Hey, Rich, does the RG3020 have scraped binding like the 3120, or is that the difference that resulted in the model # change?

No RGs with ZR, still?

I would love an RG with an S neck profile, 24 frets and ZR. Guess I'll just have to wait for my signature model in about 2006.

Considering we're also looking at gear from Carvin, Peavey, Line 6, etc., i think it's in the right place.

How about the RG1570L? Prestige neck, Edge Pro......throw some new pups in and you're good to go.

What's with the headstock on the Daron Malaikan model? Is it a plain reversed headstock, or is it something unique to his model? (can't tell because of the dark background in the pic)

I'm finding I really like that guitar for some reason, mostly the finish.

Hey Rich, it's hard to tell from the pic, is that a mirror pickguard on the 2550 or a black one?

Yeah but check out the price. Holy s*^t.

I'd rather have a Godin Multiac in that price range. I know, different purpose, but still.....

wow...the lineup is weak this year. I was rather pleased to see 2 more "s" prestige models...although the colors are not my thing. I think the inlays are god-awful on the AT model. Theres no trem guitars with maple boards. Overall, the available colors are just pitiful. The 2 winners appear to be the new JS and the the rg2120x in VV. Otherwise this years namm is a real sleeper for ibanez.
