Good point.
I should've mentioned, that if one manages to get ones hands on a 2nd-hand Suhr here parts of the world it'll keep it's resale value pretty well. I've got no experience dealing with new Suhrs, but nowadays when you buy a new guitar the resale value tends to drop for quite a bit, no matter who the manufacturer is.

Re: Suhr 10th anniversary

Nice guitar, I'd sure like that!

The thing here is, that I haven't seen a collecting trend start to build around Suhr. Don't get me wrong, Suhr produces most excellent stuff, but words 'collector' and 'Suhr' haven't bonded, not YET at least.

They've got a good resale value, but are the prices on rarer 2nd hand Suhrs going up..?

In any case, if Suhrs shall became collectors items the 10th Ann. of Yours will be one of the guitars that will gain interest.

Seems like you could get quite alot for it, but is it just the cash you're after or don't you play/like it?.

Pictures?

That's the biggest problem - right now it might seem like a good time to sell but in five or ten years you'll go "oh crap, why did I sell that one?"

The thoughts among some is that this is the "golden years" of the Suhr brand and maybe years down the line if a bigger company gobbles them up these will be more desirable as time goes on.

If it doesn't work for you as a playable instrument or if you're just holding onto it as an investment and not playing it I'm not sure - there are ways to get more $ for your dollar than guitars (well, except for 50s Les Pauls and Strats and even those aren't as high valued as they were).

Suhr 10th anniversary

Hi! I am considering selling my Suhr 10th anniversary. Do any of you think the value of the guitar is going to increase since its a limited edition model? Should I wait selling it for some years?
