One of my favorite RG models. I wouldn't refinish it as the full body/neck/headstock binding is what makes it special IMO. Just set it up and play the **** out of it.

Rescued a 2610E Yesterday. . . Now what?

Picked up this RG2610E yesterday for a pretty good price, then started taking it apart to clean it up. Some finish dings and so forth, Dimarzio Crunch Lab installed. . . Wonder if I should refinish it or set up, as is?

Although, realistically, need to see if the trem is in good enough shape to use. Took everything off today to remove as much corrosion as I could, and the only stripped screw is an intonation screw on the D string saddle. The trem had been ghetto blocked for a few years, so not much use. Just a lot of play and moisture wear on it.
