If you're thinking it will perform like an RG, Jem or UV - it will not.
That I am aware of . I just wanted to know if it can do pull-ups, flutter etc. because I am on the lookout for guitar with a non-locking trem (floating).

André

I've owned a Strat copy many years back, it was based on one of the 60'ies strats. It had a trem vintage. I just saw this picture and the trem and started to think about the Wilkinson trem which I know is a floating trem. Hence the question.

Yes, it floats, but not quite the same as an Ibanez locking trem.
If you're thinking it will perform like an RG, Jem or UV - it will not.

there is a little play for pulling up on the trem, but not much.

Re: American Fender Deluxe Strat Question

floating as it doesn't touch the body. not recessed, tho(well slightly...just for accomodating saddles and block, not for the baseplate).
