Re: RGA121 strings?????

Most RGs actually come with D'addario strings whether they are Prestige or not. I know that my RG370DX and my RG321MH both came with D'addario strings stock.

Re: RGA121 strings?????

string tension is usually determined by scale length, however headstock angling can play a big part as well. even bridge types can play a part. i believe the headstock angling allows for all the strings to have even string tension, as typically with non angled headstocks (such as strats), the lower strings have the shortest distance from bridge to tuner, which would make them slightly easier to bend while the treble strings have the longest distance from bridge to tuner (well, for tuners that are 6 in a line) which would make them feel slightly tighter.

25 1/2 inch scale, same as my lads Lone star strat. It has 9.s fitted, Same as my lads strat. The strings feel 'softer' on the RGA - easier to bend and just more 'comfortable'. Is it string type? The strat has Rotosound on it, what are the standard fitted strings on the RGA 121? I cant find this on the Ibanez web site.
God I love this guitar!
oops, just checked ball ends. They are colour coded. Are Dadarrio the only ones that do this?
