I have a 2570 and a jem with an original wizard neck profile, I prefer the original wizard neck so I guess go for the 770dx. I'd probably do that deal even though I love my 2570 and the setup that rich did on it.

Personally I'd go for the swap. RG770DX is a nice guitar. Tone is a very subjective thing so you could always replace the pups on the 770 if you didn't like them. I would have thought the stock pups on the 2570 and the 770 would be of a similar quality. Where I'm from a new 770DX reissue will set you back more than the 2570, used prices will usually follow that trend.

I have a chance to trade in my RG2570 Prestige for a RG770DX reissue. Which is worth more in the same condition? I always thought I had better pickups. I am here to ask the experts!
