Re: JEM 10th Anniversary Edition - Man i want it, but what do yo

I've had 2 and sold them both with no regrets. The tacky plastic binding really put me off them, although the necks were very nice otherwise. I kept my 90th which I love despite the pickguard fogging. I miss my UVPWH more than the JEM10ths, oddly.

It has some wear on the pickups and a few very, very small chips on the back edge.
It didn't come with the original case.
What do you do with a JEM10th case???
I'll never sell it unless I'm homeless.

It looks and plays like a dream!

Remember the very first time you opened the case with that brand new JEM10th. I dont know if your guitar gave any "air", but min just took itīs first breath and man, it was a fragrance that made a man fall in love

Sebs, its all about rarity

cased 10ths
crisp pups
Full package
Plastic on guards

More rare, more expensive!

Its in the car industry, antique, art, and also in guitar industry.

Nothing special.

Do most people who say the 10th is the best, say that mainly for the looks of it?

I've also heard the neck has some oiled finish or something.

JEM 10th Anniversary Edition

I love everything about the 10th, except for the pickguard. I would replace it with a mirrored guard. (But that's just me of course) If you can get one at a reasonable price, go for it! They are pretty pricey and I'm too cheap to pay the going rates. Although I did splurge to get myself a DNA. --rvj

The Jem10 IS the Jem of all Jem's IMHO. *And if you're looking for a 'players 10th', not one to hang on the wall and look at it from time to time, but ACTUALLY are interested in playing it, then go here:

You'll see them pop up in there on the FS ads occasionally.

With such a small, finite amount of Jem10ths in the world, don't you think that eventually the people who buy them off ebay or wherever will eventually end up being people who will keep them forever?
