Amen.. Sims tried to screw me over. the way he conducts business is unacceptable to me. I'll never deal with him. People like that never change. I myself get tired of bashing that dude. but when i remember of the parts he kept and and never returned. Or of how other guitarist never received their ordered items and now their out of $$$.. well, That is Mr. Sims' legacy right now.

i'm afraid all those photos, even beeing cool, will not ammend the Patrick's reputation to a safe place again.
he did a huge damage on his (poor)name and some jemsiter's pocket.

Apparently I have to post 10 times before I can include photos or links in my post.

darn lol. Its still cool to see the amount of navy people on here. I was an MMN1(SW/AW) on a carrier when I was in. Glad I got out

Im guessing you are on a boomer or SSGN since you cant talk about your rotation, battlegroup rotations are pretty public info, even if guesstimations

Imageshack.us is a good image uploading site, and what I use for all my image uploading needs. user friendly and versatile, and can upload 100 images at a time

OK so I posted photos under the "Gallery" in the "Member Categories" section. Obviously, they can be found under my user name (Cdogs'Dad). Sorry, I don't get on here much.

Hmm. Sub guy... You wouldn't happen to be a fellow nuke would you?

Anyway, let's see some pics if you can find the time, and when do you leave on deployment?

Re: Custom DNA (built by Patrick Sims)

I thought this thread was getting way off topic, so I just quit paying attention to it, and unsubscribed from it. Needless to say, I only check it every now and then. So, the guitar is 99% complete. It's still missing the volume and tone knobs and the pickup selector switch tip.

I got it in late Feb while I was in Guam, and then in early March, I moved my family back to the states to the Seattle area. It took a while for our household goods to cross the Pacific. Once I got my family settled and unpacked, I started the assembly. The neck has a VERY tight fit to the body, literally like they were made for one another. The further I got into the assembly, the busier I got at my new command, so I took it to Ted Brown music in the Seattle/Tacoma area. At first the guys at Ted Brown mistook the body and neck for original Ibanez parts that I had modified and painted. After they saw Patrick's name I told them who built it, and they were very impressed.

I've been so busy with my pre-deployment training that I haven't had a chance to finish it 100%. I still need to put black screws in place of the silver pickguard screws, and add the volume and tone knobs and the green pickup selector switch. My wife just picked it up from Ted Brown music today where they installed the coil tap configuration that I wanted. Once I get back from this training cycle, I'll finish installing the last few items and post high res pics. Today I'll post the pics that my wife took with her phone from the other side of the country. The guys at Ted Brown say that the alder body and the Bare Knuckle "Miracle Man" pickups give this guitar the most sustain they've heard in years.
