Markie Boy Man - this HAS to be an Ibanez Universe!!!!!! DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT!!!!!!!!! THE WORLD NEEDS THIS GUITAR!!!

How could you live with depriving all of the folks who have stopped their lives while you accomplish obtaining a guitar of Michelangelo-scale proportions!!!!

OK - slightly over the top I know.....but I'd love to see a Universe Universe!

Shredder stuck in the 80s Keep in mind, this is the idea IF I decide to get an Ibanez guitar...I might get a JPM or a Jackson.

THE UNIVERSAL ONE Truely can't wait for this one... hope it turns out exactly how you want it man!

Shredder stuck in the 80s Ok, I think I have the finalized idea. Some of you may dislike, or love. Dunno yet.

The swirl finish contains black, dark blue, neon green, and dark purple
The inlays are the UV pyramids, the front face green, the side blue, the top purple, all glow in the dark
Ebony fretboard
Maple neck
Alder body
Either EMG 707 pups or (naturally what I am leaning for) Dimarzio colored pups (green inner coils blue outer coils) ONLY 2 HUM, no single
3 way switching like on JP models, switch head green
2 volume controls colored green, no tone
Swirled matching headstock, with glow in the dark green 'my last name' logo in place of Ibanez (my last name has the same # of letters)
Ibanez Lo-Pro Edge trem
Cosmo Black Hardware
Titled input jack
Ibanez style truss rod cover
Clear, blue illuminant pickguard

I think that covers it...if I decide on an Ibanez for my next guitar THIS IS IT!!! EKG/LGM/ATD that is...

Markie Boy .....not sure if this has been mentioned, but I had this as a bit of a brainwave but I'm sure someone must have it.........Have you seen those kids curtains that have galaxies / spaceships etc on them. Kind of a cosmic FP idea!!!

Knightmeir Yeah, the sun would look cool on the headstock, like the all seeing eye on the headstock of the anniversary model... the all seeing sun... with a Uranus neck.. You could call it an Eyebanez Uranus. Sorry, I'm being a retard , but the sun idea is good.
You'd have to have an ebony fretboard like the 7VWH just because it's nice and dark... I don't know what the possibilities are of having pinhole sized white inlays that glow in the dark all over the fretboard to simulate stars... too much work? The body could be black with really light swirls on it, but I don't think it would look too good with actual prints of galaxies, etc... or how about a supernova sunburst, yeah.

darren wilson I'd be more inclined to do a planetary inlay in the order they are in the solar system, not necessarily to scale.

Assume the headstock is the sun.

1. Mercury
3. Venus
5. Earth (+ moon)
7. Mars (+ moon)
9. Jupiter (+ moons)
12. Saturn (+ rings and moons)
15. Uranus (+ moons)
17. Neptune (etc.)
19. Pluto
21. Halley's comet

Arranging them in a "wave" pattern along the lines of what the Kramer Nightswan's dot arrangement was would also be pretty, and less linear.

Shredder stuck in the 80s I was thinking for a custom Universe either one of my own custom ideas or someting like a PAW UV77MC more modern recreation...with claw routing, monkeygrip, no single coil (always hit em when I'm picking, I HATE EM!), AANJ, etc. I think that would be quite cool.

THE UNIVERSAL ONE I was questioning a 7-string before I got one too, but now that I have it, especially with the diversity of music I play, I find it so much easier to play. The only 6-string I believe I will ever purchase again would be a Jem, and hopefully that happens soon. But the 7-will never leave my side. It's become my best friend basically.

Shredder stuck in the 80s lol, I would be sure to! Even tho I don't have a digital camera I would have to buy one for such a beauty!

It's either a custom Ibanez idea, a Jackson custom, or a EB/MM Petrucci. Whatever my next guitar is, it's probably gonna be a 7 string. I might completely convert to 7 string because, well, an extra string can only give you more, couldn't hurt!

Markie Boy Nah's got to be the Planets idea for the fretboard.....If you could get the vine/DNA tails to look like comets etc...that would be real cool......Is the plot being lost with the original idea though!

If you ever get this done...make sure the pics get posted - I can see it becoming my wallpaper for a good year or six!!!!

Shredder stuck in the 80s Hm...that idea isn't bad either...dunno tho...
