Two hands31 Ok, so slightly unreasonable. But would be fun anyways if possible.

Knightmeir They should send people to your house to build the guitar for you while you watch to make sure they don't botch it up. I guess that would be part of that "If you had a gazillion dollars" thread huh?

Texter Well I don't give a rat's behind about factory setups but I know I still need to get a big hammer to bump that 5th fret of my JEM90HAM into order...and the artist's setup should definitely be factory spec, yeah...

Gabe Nickelson Even if they did that, the setup wouldn't be to the artists specs at the end user. Shipping several thousand miles through every climate imaginable does wonders to wood.

mike777 You're right. It probably applies to "Toolbox...", "Comments...", or "Other..." but on this note, I agree, BUT, the extra time in labor and attention would have significant increase in costs. This would be interesting anyway to see for personal amusement but when I'm buying the guitar, I'll be the one playing it so if necessary, I'd make the readjustments to suit my playing.

Factory Set-Up

Not sure if this is where this thread should go, but...

IMHO, signature guitars should come set up from the factory to the artist's specs.
