Well, after spending some time on it......it is different, but not so bad after all. Sometimes, I find it hard to bend up high on my AANJ guitars, as there is so little mass to the neck, even way up. With this original heel joint, it takes a slightly different muscle memory to play up high, and sometimes, it almost makes bending up there easier with all of the mass in that area......if this makes sense, So yes,,,,quite a different feel up there, but since all of my other Ibanez are AANJ, this is kinda fun to have something different. Plus, the guitar is so perfect and mint, it still has all the clear plastic covering the plates, and I'm sure I'd sell it at a loss. I think I can grow comfortable on this,,,and end up REALLY liking it.

In fact, you may find that you like the tone of the square heel better, a lot of us do.

I cant imagine it feeling totally different, itll maybe take a hour or two to get used to but with a new guitar all i ever do it play it for hours in the next week so i don't think you should worry too much! The PGM100 is my favorite guitar of all time so please post pics when you get it!
