Thats too funny!! When I was done with it, I thought the same thing. Last night (at 10 00PM) after I had been HAND sanding all damn day(I know, your like wtf, but Ive had a couple of sanders get away from me before, and wasn't chancing it this time) I got lazy, I will remedy that trust me, cause the rest of it looks really great, and then theres the horns, thanks for the reply, later

Very cool man. I always though S's looked best in their natural state.....very classy.

Any chance the anal side of my personality could get you to smooth out the inside of the horns a little more????

JK.....enjoy it man.....that's definitely the find of the month, maybe even the year!!!!!

It wsn't stripped at all, just neglected, neck plate, and serial on head stock still both there, IF they did steal it, and sell it to this particular pawn shop, their even stupider than I thought, its owned by local Sherriff, later

Probably someone who stole it and stripped it so it wouldn't be recognized.

Awsome score! The only thing that bothers me about pawn shop finds is you know that guy only paid like 30 bucks for that thing....so who in the hell sells an Ibby to a pawn shop for 30 bucks...lol....anyways love finding those kind of deals!

Hey all, this is the most ridiculous find, I have ever run across. im in local pawn shop other day, this Ibby is leaning against counter. Missing 3 strings, both vol knobs, the locking nuts, and strap locks? I ask the guy how much? He says I dont know, let me see what we got into it, comes back and says 75.00? I about **** myself right there, Figured it didn't work, bought it anyway, got it home, and lo and behold it works perfectly and sounds great. It was originally Black Cherry, but looked like the guy used it to beat his drunk drummer up,(we all have one of them now, dont weevil:, so I just decide to strip it down all the way to the Mahogany, stain it, and leave it, here is the finished fiddle, gotta say this thing looks pretty awesome in the light, all in all I have 80.00 (5.00 set of strings) into this beast, all the missing parts I had, love those uneducated pwans shop guys, later all
