Looks like a winning combo there. Good snag.

Thats nice man, looks like its in super awesome condition too. Definitely a good idea to swap the stock pickups, I'm not a fan of them either.

Thats funny. Made me laugh. I have an AMF bowling ball, not this color but in a red/burgundyish sparkle like that and it made me laugh when I read that.

Nice score btw.

Re: NGD - RG517 FBL

Very nice. My first Ibanez was almost a flake silver RG517 ($330 new back in 1997 LOL!) but then I got a killer deal on a different Ibby so I let that one go. I'd still love to find one of the flake silver ones.

Killer man! Looks to be in great shape!

I like that pickup color combo. I've got the green version, but it's got EMGs, so it doesn't look too exciting!

Great score man, I've got a RGR570 also in FBL and the paint is fantastic!

Congrats!!!

I frickin love sparkle finishes. that is great. the ultimate for me would be if it had a reverse matching headstock and maple board but damn, that thing is still sharp.!!

NGD - RG517 FBL

I picked this up a few weeks ago off of that auction site. It's a 97 in terrific shape with only on bit of rash on the back. I didnt care for the sound of the Vs that were in it so I swapped them out of a Tone Zone / Blue Velvet / Air Norton set. I may try that magnet swap trick on those at some point.
