Re: RG2610E Body.......Neck & Trem Options

OK thanks. I guess I need to find an RG1570 with a beat body but good neck and trem.

The Prestige necks are slightly wider than the earlier MIJ necks. You'll have slight gaps either side of the pocket.

To get an edge or Lo Pro Edge to fit you'll have to make the tremolo cavity a bit wider too.

RG2610E Body.......Neck & Trem Options

I have an extra RG2610 Body lying around that came originally with an Edge Pro. It still has the stud bushings but nothing else. Personally, I like the bubinga striped Wizard necks from the late 90's/early 00's better than the Prestige neck that came on the 2610. I take it that a bubinga striped Wizard neck will bolt right onto the 2610 body in perfect position without modification ???

Also, given that the body came originally with and Edge Pro and has the Edge Pro stud bushings still intact, am I stuck with having to go with an Edge Pro or will a regular Edge and Edge studs screw into the Edge Pro stud bushings ?
