Yup.

It's like if you pick by the bridge, it sounds more trebbly than if you pick right above the neck pickup.

i feel like the bridge humbucker has the less bass to it, when it's distorted it sounds awesome, but on a clean tone, rather trebbley compared to other pickups. i dont know, i've just got that guitar, and i'm suspiccious that something might be wrong.

lo0l THIS is how they sound.
You cant run the same settings on this as your strat.
My 91 770dx needs alot of gain and more bass on the amp to sound good.

You need to try some evolutions in it and really see how bad it is.
p.s. make a video on youtube and send us a link to make sure its right.

Ibanez RG770dxlb, 1993. problem!

Hi all, sorry if this topic exsists somewhere on the forum, i'm a new guy here and i couldnt find it so... here's my problem.

Yesterday I bought a used Ibanez RG770dxlb from year 1993. Overall guitar is awesome, neck is beautiful, color is sexy, but i've noticed that every pickup has a sort of a "bass" to it, except the bridge pickup, it's kind of trebelly. I dont know how to fix it, maybe it should be like it, i dont really know, maybe it's psychological, couse for the first time i have HSH guitar, i've had a strat SSH so far and couple of SSS stratocasters.

Can you tell me what to do, or what to check?

Thanks for your time, greetings from Croatia!
