DNA jem is the most expensive valuable of all jems....if you dont have at least 7k in your hand then just forget about it

Sorry its singapore $14500... Might be negotiable....nobody will sell their jemDNA below US$6000....maybe you can get cheaper if the DNA guitar has chips dings and some defects

BUMP, I am ready to buy one but am still unsure of a good buy in price?

It looks like as of late they are going for 6000-7000ish with all original goodies?

Does anyone know if the DNA fades by the way?

Yes I know its not original as I ordered it that way. Time for reading lessons.

As already said, it depends on the swirl and the condition. A DNA in almost pristine condition with a nice swirl should not go for 6k. But with a little bit luck you can find a used one for that money. The glowing in the dark fretboard inlay is one of the special features of a DNA, and the shown custom "DNA" neck is far, far away from an original.

It has never been done before that putting someones blood into the paint.

Imagine when Steve Vai dies. This i think will be the highest value guitar for a long long time..... When he is dead and people who remember him who give a crap.... it wil be 20k up from 5000 ($8000) or 7100 Euros.

Good point, I do wish it was a bit thicker...I'm pretty happy with the DNA on my swirl though.
