those faded models and satins are priced like entry level Gibbys, but seriously,, if you like the finish, you are getting a terrific guitar for the price.

Re: NGD: Gibson LP Traditional Satin

I just picked up my very first Gibson LP (Studio) in Worn Brown. I am really taken with it. I was never a fan of LPs, but the sound on this thing is madness.

I couldn't resist throwing out a quick rendition of Sweet Child of Mine and Whole Lotta Love

Ya in dec of 2009 they had usa fender j basses and the faded explorers for $450 w cases some kind of super clearence blowout. I found 2 basses and 1 explorer in a 2 hour area. Ended up selling them all but miss the explorer terribly......

Re: NGD: Gibson LP Traditional Satin

I had a cherry faded explorer and I miss that more then any guitar I have ever sold...... And it was another GC "steal" was a blow out for $450...... The finish on the satin is a bit different I wouldent say semi gloss but not as dry feeling?

It has 57 neck and a 57+ bridge, 60's neck all mahogany sounds amazing! Similar to the vintage burst Traditional Pro on the left.

I wanted a good tele and strat and I got a used/new BSB CV 50s tele and love it the neck is perfect frets are amazing and no plans on pup swap (did put a brass compensated wilkinson bridge on I had) And was looking for a CV 50s Strat and came across this had a bad ground and they were going to send it back at a huge loss. Sold it to me for $140 mint and I was able to fix it in minutes

hell yeah dude, coulpe nice axes there..
I have a "faded" explorer that kind of looks the same as that LP. Its my main guitar.
Does it come with the 498-490 pickups?

I played a classic vibe tele once and almost bought it.

Their was apparently a mistake at GC's online site I did my weekly oggling at these when they were on clearance for $1200ish. Instead of clicking brown I accidentally hit Cherry. They had it marked for $650, a store a hour away had one so I bought it online and picked it up in the morning (drove 90 mph and called ahead they let me pick up before the store opened). Apparently it was a issue because by that night the item came off their site and has been on and off since at $1500. And last pic is a Squier CV50s I got at a Best Buy for $140 that I also love
