No problem! I know how frustrating it is up here in Canadialand where our Ibanez dealers don't tend to stock the really cool high-end stuff!

I went to the local L&M down by Terminal near the skytrain a few days ago and their ibanez stock was not very impressive at all. They have a nice collection of CS shop fenders but the same fenders have been there for at least a few months...



Ah ok cool! Im not too educated about J-customs unfortunately. The J-customs i've tried feel thinner than the most recent UV model (mirror pickguard one) but thicker than early UVs. I think the J-custom is great for guys like me with some mild wrist issues that love the Ibanez vibe but want a slightly thicker neck.

Yeah in a good way for sure. It depends on model year I suppose.
There are tons of J Customs out there with thin Wizard/Super Wizard necks.
Then you do have some of the others with beefier necks like you say.
The J Custom RG1880 for instance has a much fatter neck than your
average Ibanez RG model,.

I have only had this 1680 and an 8527.

The necks feel thicker than a 7620, 7421 (MiJ one...) and old 90's UV.

Not in a bad way though
