I got one for my Explorer on the 'bay, I forget the company, but the make brass compensating nuts for all types of guitars. The 3 E B G string slots are back a little further and it seems to work. I'm happy with it for sure, plus I just like brass. They sell for 20-24 bucks if I remember correctly. Never tried Earvana though so I can't compare..oh also it was an exact fit for the original nut, no shimming or messing around.

Id like to replace the nut on my Les Paul. Any opinions on Tusq vs Earvana vs ???

Totally foreign subject to me, but the stock one is spent. I need some thing that stays in tune, but I've heard the Earvana helps with intonation.
