"what the differences were?"

Do you mean from year to year?

JS1200 headstock stamp query

Hi everyone, I'm a new forum member so thought I'd put in my first post to you all

I am looking at picking up a used (2004, I think) JS1200 and the stamp on the back of the headstock says 'Made in Japan' apposed to 'Team J Craft' that I have seen elsewhere.

The serial number checks out to be made in Japan etc but wondered what the differences were?

(I did a search but couldn't find a definitive answer, aside from Marketing ploy)
