Re: NGD Jem 20th

I have read some of the love/hate discussions about the 20th.

In my opinion you have to see it in person and play it with your own amps and effects before juding it. It has been called plastic toy and christmas tree.
I think it's deserve better. i am very happy that i had the opportunity to buy one for the same price i paid for my LNG.

And the weight IS ::::::: 12,1 lbs (5,5 kg).

Probably no difference with a somewhat distorted tone.

Re: NGD Jem 20th

I had a chance to play 2 of those at a local music store here sometime ago. I liked the gain/ distorted sound but didn't fancy the clean as much. I kept coming back for about a month thinking if I should splurge or not. The owner even said he'll drop the price from $3,999 to 3,200 and added---make an offer if that won't work for ya'!
But I didn't think it was justifiable to have one at that time.
Now, if I could only turn back time...
Anyway, Congratulations on a nice score!

Throwing away batteries is bad for our nature.

Well i haven't tried it so much yet. But for metall licks with distortion it is the best sounding jem in my collection. With clean tone. Other jem's beat it.

Nice if anyone with more experience can comment.

Any reason why ? I still have it. It is a Maxell Super Power Ace stamped 06-2008 at the bottom.

Re: NGD Jem 20th

Nice one! So it looks like you're also missing the 7VBSL, 7PBK, 77VBK, 10th and 90th as well

Only eight more to go!
