Thanks a ton, still some day light but I work nights so... meh see the moon 24/7 dunno how that works. Ice is forming and sun is rising later in the North! Thanks I think I'm only sticking around until the tax season breaks. Hopefully I'll get a full effect WI winter and laugh!

COOL Fender! (pun intended) I like the binding and jumbo frets. You don't see that on many Fenders. Enjoy!
I'm curious about the Arctic, Ice melting? Sun rising a few days early? Russians sniffing around? Stay warm up there, and Congrats on the New guitar!!!

Took me long enough but I had a NP/S/HWD. The Strat ov Doom has been realized! Installed some Lace Dirty Heshers, nice black String Saver saddles, and some chrome (painted plastic) Hardware. I'm really digging the look... dig the sound below the 12th (still need to intonate)... and really love how it plays in B standard with some thick ole strings! Here is a pic.

Links are indeed fixed... now thats a Strat I could wrap my hands around! Nice guitar!!

But why in the world would they need a sticker to tell you not to throw it away? lol... Must be meant for angry wives and girlfriends.

NGD Classic Player Strat HH (Merc Blue)

I NEEDED a guitar with a heavy finish on it due to the humidity shifts here in the Arctic so I went with something heavy on the poly side, my 3250 neck started to get pokey so I panicked and sent it back stateside. Ordered and received this Fender Classic Player Strat. The guitar plays well, and really fit the bill for my post-rock/metal phase I've been going through for a while now. The guitar was shipped really well through USPS/Military handling but it arrived with B-Stock looking issues. I'm not sure what blems pass the Mexi-Fender QA but, while pulling the guitar apart for some cavity cleaning I found some fretboard gouging, a very fine dent on the pup face, and a little dent in the body/heel of the neck. I have no plans on returning this guy, but these things are disappointing, pics below.

Underside of the Widerange pup, solderless connectors are the future I guess... It'll make swapping out easier... this proprietary 4 bolt attaching system is gonna be interesting though.

Binding looks good, fretwork is decent save for the poly thats on some of the fret ends.

Big trem block is nice! Unsure if it's one of the zinc ones, might stick it in saltwater and find out.

Neck Plate, must have been in a hurry to get that sticker on.

Neck Jointy area, pretty impressed, was expecting a sloppy mess of sawdust, I don't really know much about Strat Trusses but there is one end.

Nice Tuners, not familiar with the vintage style though, lost an E string in my first restring, gonna need more wraps!
