I have both, a 1550 PBL and a Carvin JB200. Very happy with both

Speaking of 1560's, you should take a look at what Ryc is doing to mine:

I agree , I was playing mine for a couple of hours last night, and am really beginning to appreciate the neck on this guitar, it's incredibly comfortable

These are really cool guitars. If I didn't have so many guitars already, this would be on my list. Although I love the Edge and Lo-Pro from a nostalgic perspective, I'm come think that the Edge Pro is my favorite trem for actually playing. I really like the feel of the raised saddle inserts under my hand. I feel like I have better control over palm muting on that trem.

Gotta love the maple fretboard... I can't get enough of maple fb with non-matching headstock. Just so classy! =)

I like it so much that I may try to track down a 1560 as well. there are 2 on Ebay right now if I can move my 560 (in the classifieds) I may grab one of them if I can talk the seller down a bit.
Hey, that's exactly what I love about the neck too It's a little meatier than a more recent prestige wizard neck and is just much easier to play. I actually have thought about getting an Edge Pro version also, just because I love the 1550
