Itís probably a Ď93-Ď99 neck; during that era the scallops were like those and the abalone inlays were darker due to the scalloping in most of the necks. Around 2000 Fuji improved the scalloping process and did not affected the shine of the abalone inlays.

The look of the woods is awesome!

Nice man, looks awesome! I'm working on something sort of similar. Taking a VWH and have an aftermarket body on order which I'm going to have swirled and then will swap over most of the parts from the Jem.

Rebuilt/Custom Jem

I rebuilt my Jem 7VWH, made a custom body with spalted flamed maple with a rosewood center piece for the top and refaced the headstock to match. Covered the white pickups with a thin rosewood veneer. Used all the electronics and hardware from the Jem. Looks quite a bit different. Also added a Roland GK pickup.
