JGOB Just trying to revive this post since I ordered my new pickups and want to start with the body. Anyone have any tips on this natural oil finish. Been googling but no real luck so far. Thanks!

Natural mahogany body finish
Hi,

Do any of you have experience with finishing a body?
I bought a mahogany replacement for my RG550LTD and want to give it a natural oil finish.

Any ideas?
Do I need to use a grain filler?
What kind of oil do you use?
