its nothing clever, it would be really simple for them to make, and you would only need to replace it once in your lifetime!
my dad does motorcycle racing and has to go to engineering firms to get them to make one off parts all the time and its far more cost effective than branded stuff as well as better quality
i think it would be worth it personally, just for the peace of mind that you wont need to order any more of those parts because, as S-man said, they break and are the main flaw in the ZR

Yeah, part of the problem is they are made of diecast.

But, so were the edge, lopro, etc.

Re: My ZR trem BROKE! Pic inside

im sure if you went to a local engineering place they could build you one of those out of some proper metal for similar prices to getting another one from ibanez

Has this happened to anyone else?

Sorry to dig up an old thread but this exact same thing happend to me this afternoon.

This part isn't listed on Ibanez's parts page for the S series or in the ZR's individual parts list. IT's like the ONLY part NOT listed.

I'm trying to sell my S470 and I have to get this replaced before I can sell it

I have a question for FBD,as far as looking photo, your S seems to be a S1620FBNT. I know S1620FBNT is only sold in USA,and you lives in Norway.
How did you get it?
Like Matt Cater said!
I wanted the Transparent Black Sunburst finish, but he could only get the FBNT finish.
And I have to say it is a excellent guitar!

The thing is that the main importer in Norway doesn't take in the S1620, so I had to order it through a guy that imports ibanez from Belgium.

If you tell shop guys the trouble as claim, the trouble will be told Ibanes service center in japan at last. And they will send parts.
Thanks.
Ok. Thanks!

I assume you have a connection to Ibanez since you know all this...
Have you seen this problem before?

Thanks for your help!

the.godfather I am sure you will be able to find that bit you need somewhere. You can practically get any part you want from somewhere or another. Just a case of keep looking and keep hunting I spose. Good Luck.
