Scott Smith I've got one just like that. Only mines red and it has a Strat type trem. And mine has an EMG 81 in it. I found mine at a pawn shop and got it for just under a hundred dollars. Not a bad deal for a nice guitar. It will tide me over til I get my Jackson SL2!!!

So, the consensus is that it's a Model 1?

Theres one in a shop near me its been their for ages but it costs about 400 I think

I have played it m any times its got a nice neck, not too thin but not chunky. The Jackson HB is not bad either for stock.

For 170 thats an amazing find!!

the.godfather It looks in really nice condition too. I just love the curvy body, and the simplicity of it. 1 hum and a single volume control. Bring back that 80's shred!

Jimi D That's one of the old model ones from the eighties with an aftermarket Floyd in place of the cheapie Kahler "vintage" style trems they put on those things... Great guitars! the Model 3 and higher got real Kahler trems and the other guitarist in my band gigs with a Model 4 that used to be mine (and I sorely regret selling him ) I love the necks on these Charvels, and the Japanese build quality is just excellent on these early ones... Great find!
