|bachle7||Thanks toshiro, I missed the "1989" part! I also find the Wizard neck too thin for me. I'm looking for a Wizard II neck from an RG DX series guitar to build a custom guitar myself!|

Hmm.. the 2120 has an ultra neck.
For a similar neck with the old joint, you ould try to get ahold of an old radius neck.. but that way you'd sacrifice frets 23-24. Maybe warmoth necks are indeed the best option.
Edit: Or you could *try* and get an old jem neck. AFAIK, those have pretty wizardII-ish dimensions.

|toshiro||AFAIK, there aren't any Wizard II necks with the old heel joint, RG470's back in the old days(1993) can with Orig. Wizard necks..|

|bachle7||You could take the Wizard II neck off an old RG470 or something.|

Warmoth neck with the 24 fret extension should fit no problem. Just won't have an Ibanez headstock anymore..
LGM and EKG also make custom necks, I believe(links in the banner)..

RG neck repleacement
I have an RG 570 that I would like to change the neck on. It's from 1989, and has a really thin neck. I would like something with al ittle more of a round radius, and something a little thicker. Something like the neck on my S2120 prestige would be awesome. Can any of you guys think of anything that would be similar, and compatible?
