darren wilson As far as i know, the only "custom" driver size they made was for 7-string guitars. They discontinued them because they said doing the tooling for an item with such low demand wasn't cost-effective. This leads me to believe that they didn't actually get any solid orders for them. If they had, the tooling would have been done, and they could have easily produced them on demand.

We no longer make custom driver sizes.
So in other words, they used to

darren wilson All that means is you can install the regular 6-string guitar driver on a bass. As i said before, they don't make a wider driver any more.

I don't think they make bass sustainers.

darren wilson Well, it's an 8-string and it has a sustainer, but there's nothing that says the Sustainiac driver covers all 8 strings. They only made 7-string drivers for a short while, then they discontinued them. I don't know if they do custom one-off orders, but i suspect it's unlikely.

Really odd that he's got the middle four strings on a trem bridge, but the outer four strings are fixed. What an odd guitar.

darren wilson I thought you were talking about the missing strap button.

And Yamaha had angled jacks on their RGX line long before the JEM existed.

Two hands31 From the looks of it, I think it may be the same guitar as the Fernandes Revolver 7 or whatever they had in the catalogue a while back, but modified by this company (in the same was as they modify JEM7VWHs into the "Flo" mod) to be like some famous guy's guitar.

Btw, notice anything funny about this pic?

Yeah, the seven string sustainer is only available pre-installed in that particular guitar. (The red Fernandez halfway down the page.)

...which is nearly $3000 US. Ouch.

lennartengel did'nt new about these guitars... Are they still in production? Can't see them on the fernandes website.
