RSVampire you can also special order pickups with no logo's on them by Seymour Duncan. If it has the model # on the back of the pickup, I wouldn't worry about it not saying "Seymour Duncan" on the front of the pickup.

Kontalonis Well nonetheless, do you think this is a good guitar for 250-300 dollars. There are no cracks or breaks just a few nicks and rusted knobs. Also, final thoughts on the pickup.

darren wilson I believe Seymour Duncan only started branding their pickups in the early- to mid-'90s. The logo is only silkscreened on the bobbins, so it's also possible it wore off or was removed.

Kontalonis The ones they are selling new have the logo on them. What is the chance that it is a SD. I mean could there be another company with the same stamp on the back?

Jammy If I remeber correctly not all seymours have the logo on the front, could be wrong though.

Urgent Pickup Question!

A friend of mine is about to bid on a used 570 on ebay, but has one question. The bridge humbucker has been changed and on the back it says TB12 J. I looked up the model number and it says it is a screamin demon but one thing baffles me. The seymour duncan logo is not on the front of the pickup like it usually is. What is this thing?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
