ICEMAN 7 As I see it, I don't think that a 7-string version of either would be too good. I think it would seem like Ibanez was trying to sell out the whole originality of the Iceman to 7-strings. Although I play a 7-string, I think it would only be a downfall to make an Iceman 7. Maybe they should come up with some more new extreme designs and then apply the 7-string concept to them. But that's just my 2 cents worth. |

ICEMAN 7 The headstocks very close, I was just noticing that myself the other day, except its a little more rounded off. |

ICEMAN 7 Ibanez NEEDS to make a model 7 that is neck-thru. I've heard from so many people that it makes a huge difference. Even though it is much more expensive to make...I think a lot of people would buy into it. Add on to that it being a Destoyer or Iceman and I think it would do well... I wouldn't go for a 7 string hollowbody...I think they already have 1 model but I've never seen anyone playing one or heard great things about it. |

ICEMAN 7 Iceman or destroyer 7-strings... just fine with me, since both guitars have that sweet body. But, that wouldn't be something radically new. Afterall we're still talking about solid body guitars. How about a 7-string AS200 or AS120? Or, a solid body neck-thru-body, all mahagony axe with a total new design such that the Iceman would look old? |

ICEMAN 7 It's similar, Madwell. It's got a similar angular shape and notch out of the tip. |

ICEMAN 7 A destoyer would be nice... I've always wondered...Isn't the Iceman headstock the same as a Jem/RG headstock but with 3+3 tuners?? It looks the same but I cant tell because Im not used to seeing it without the inline tuners... |

ICEMAN 7 I'd go for either a Destroyer or Iceman 7. I'd go for nice 6 string versions. We haven't seen a good Iceman since the J Iceman and that ones questionable because of the finish. I can't remember when the last quality Destroyer was. Ibanez needs to think about a "reissue" or new, quality, model of both of these classics... |

ICEMAN 7 How about a Destroyer 7 modeled after Phil Collen's old Destroyer 555? (Hmm... Destroyer 777?) Black with three cream humbuckers, cream binding, mother-of-pearl/abalone block inlays... now yer talkin'! |

ICEMAN 7 - what do u guys think??? ok....now that i look back at it ...JS7- bad idea...iceman 7 though...that would be sweet, as long as it doesn't look cheap like many of the iceman's do. I'd have to say that something similar to the PS would be a nice way to go. Give it a mahogany body that sweet axe shape and i'd buy it. It couldn't have inline tuning machines...i saw that on an iceman a while back and just wanted to smash that thing. It looked like crap....anyways...tell me what you guys think...... |
