this was a humble little local music shop, i doubt it was modded, but yea, i'l get pics asap

There is no chance of it being a 1570 unless it was HEAVILY modified, to the point where it would be more of a different guitar then a 1570. Chances are that it was incorrectly labeled. If it doesnt have the prestige logo, then the neck isnt prestige, eliminating the 1570, and 1550. The 1570 isnt that old at all. Ever since it came into production it has had the prestige logo, so there isn't any chance of it being an older prestige.
Get some pics though, i'd like to know what it is also. And check the back of the headstock and see if there is a model stamp there aswell.

Something like this?

no, it had a see-through blue burst finish, almost like a fender burst, but just blue. and it had a jem like pearloid pickguard, with a h-s-h pickup config. it definately had an edge pro bridge. i cant remember what pickups it had. but yea, it had a light brown rosewood fretboard with shark tooth inlays. it was ****in sweet. it played like a dream man, i was shocked at how good it was. the neck was sooooo smooth and fast, and the fret board was way flatter than my lp style neck.

You know, they made 550s with Rosewood boards at one point (at least, I think they did?).

Sharktooth inlays?, perloid pickguard? Sounds more like an RG750 but you sure it got an Edge Pro? What kind of pickups in it?

Cause the only RG that fits your description if it got an Edge Pro is a 2003 or 2004 RG450LTD.

werent a 1550, it had a rosewood fretboard
the tag said "1570 - prestige", but it must be pretty old because the headstock doesnt have a prestige logo but it comes with the ibanez hard case...

1570 has no pickguard. Maybe it's a 1550. Wizard/Super-wizard neck is 17mm at the thinnest point, iirc, though I think the new 1570's/1550's have a prestige neck which is a little thicker than the old wizard/super-wizard.

hey, i was just wondering if anyone has seen a see through burst blue 1570, with a pearloid pickguard and edge pro trem and sharktooth inlays

i saw one in my local guitar shop and its classy.

i was just wondering if anyone else has one, and if so, what you think of it

btw, how thick is the 1570 neck? like in mm? i think the wizard 2 is 19mm at 1st fret and 21mm and 12th, but does any1 know what the 1570 neck size is?
