Re: Help with RGA321 Color

I have a couple pics [flash and no flash] of the nice chevron flame 321 I have in stock. Drop me an email if you'd like them.

Re: Help with RGA321 Color

I would like to thank all you guys for helping me with my questions. Itís not easy to describe color and I appreciate it much. Iím going to go ahead and order the RGA next week. I will be sure to post pics for all to see. Guess Iím a soon to be Ibanez junkie as I will buy more. I see no other guitars playing better imo, but that just me.

Thanks again guys

I should clarify. If you are looking at the guitar within arms lenght you can see the flame even without lots of light. Past that the guitar looks blue dark but not like Navy dark. When under light you see a burst edge dark around the edge and light turquoise in the middle and that's when you can see the flame at longer distances. Ibanez did use a highly figured top, but there is something about this stain that doesn't bring it out as well as other flame tops I've seen (like on a PRS for example)

I agree with the other guys above who say buy it if you want a fixed bridge RG. Personally I still think it looks better than the natural and violin brown ones. If the flame top was more important to me I would have gone for the RG3020 or whatever it is called.

Anyways, if you are thinking of buying one definitely try to find one in a store before buying online to see what the finish looks looks like.

This guitar is my first MIJ Ibanez, and first RG. It's an awesome guitar, the best neck/fretboard I've ever tried, very comfortable with the arch top. I plan on buying another RG with floating bridge in 2006 because of this guitar. It's awesome.

I totally agree. Both guitars would have equal craftsmanship and the same pickups so the really MAJOR difference would be the bridge. Personally, I'd go for the RGA simply because I LOVE that freakin' color and the arch top and the FIXED BRIDGE. I already have a guitar with a trem and it's nice to have some variety.

From memory of one that I saw in person a couple of months back, it looked just like the top right pic in Kamikaze's post.

So light blue in all lighting?

Now that's just plain gorgeous. It would be perfect for me if it had a set-in neck. Not that I wouldn't mind a stock one.

Help with RGA321 Color

Hi guys, I believed I've decided on the RGA321 over the 3120, both at nice though. I just want to make sure that this is the same color as I can't find one close to me to see.

Here is a pic of a RGA321 from one place

http://www.ibanez.com/guitars/guitar...1F&z=y&color=0

Here is the pic from the other place

http://www.musicianforums.com/forums...d.php?t=282384

Are these the same model and color and just a bad pic?

Thanks again guys for the help on my decision
