With that pickup, ALWAYS face the bar towards the bridge. I tried facing it the other way just to see what it would sound like and it is not an appealing tone at all. But with the bar facing towards the bridge, the pickup kills.

Dude, you seriously need to put a Dimarzio D-Sonic in the bridge of that guitar. I have one in my S470DX and it is freakin' awesome.

Pickups for an S1625

Hey guys, I need help with pickups for this bad boy. I dropped a TZ in the bridge, and it just sounds muddy. I was doing some research, and I've narrowed it down to either a SD Parallel Axis Distortion or a SD Custom Custom. Keep in mind, the guitar is mahogany with a bubinga top, with a rosewood board. I tun down to either Drop C or B. I need something to balance the thickness of mahogany.
