Hell yeah.
I have always dug all of the PT models. I have always been a bit "confused" as to why they are called "Pete Townsend" models. Because lets face it, most of them look more suited for metal music. And I havent really ever seen Pete Townsend play one either now I think of it.

I've always wanted an MTM1. Its just my type of guitar. But I have never been able to pluck up the courage and put £900 down on one brand new. But the moment I see one secondhand/used, I will grab it if its a good price, thats for sure.

Great guitars you have there.
Thats quite a wall your building-up, lol

Re: my new prestige's

Sorry about the delay I just got my camera back so here is the pic of the mtm and hellraiser next to each other.

I'm not really a fan of slipknot but i really like that guitar the sustain is great, it feels and plays nice. Also the FX bridge is pretty solid i would prefer a edge pro that way you could block it if you want or keep it floating, I'm also a fan of the emg's but i like the 81-85 combo better than the 81-60 because the 85 gives me warmer cleans and i think it just sounds better.

The finish is really nice but shows marks and scuffs a lot. if you were going to choose hellraiser or mtm, i would go hellraiser because its half the price and delievers just as hard.

Thanks man. I have an S1625fb, and I love it, but I played a 2170 (the one with a poplar top) yesterday and fell in love with the unfinished neck.

Rich only carries high-end and rarer Ibanez's along the Custom USA, Prestige and Signature lines so it's very doubtful you'll see that one come along on his site. keep your eyes peeled on the auction site for one - they pop up from time to time.
i have a Schecter C7 Blackjack and really like it. it's my only 7 and i'm impressed enough with it that i want a 6 version and a PT version of the same series - sadly they stopped producing the PT Blackjack.

That S2170 is pretty sweet, is the neck finished or unfinished?

Looks like a 540S7 or maybe a S7420 (see below).
