Re: Mustaine Dean Guitars

Dean Guitars for some reason have always given me a bad vibe. To me, they look really cheap and something a biker would use. Just not my cup of tea. Ibanez should've endorse Dave's guitar. I honeslty think it would've looked killer.

Wow those are amazing... except the weird sharktooth/dot inlays.

+1

For some reason every time i see a V with a V headstock it reminds me of some cheap white trash cover band playing china grove at a biker bar...

Don't ask me why but it just looks kinda of.........rednecky?!?!?

I agree, this guitar headstock just doesn't look....right.

So the "V" doesn't mean the guitar shape.......it actually stands for "vagrant"!

Re: Mustaine Dean Guitars

First off, I really like the Axxion. I think it's a cool body shape. Although I'm not nuts about the headstock, I would definetly play the flame top one. Although if I had a choice of dean Vs I'd get a razorback.

Re: Mustaine Dean Guitars

They got it right with the figured maple top, but DAMN is that headstock every FUGLY!! I'd take the old Jackson King V or ESP DV8 over this Dean V anyday.
