Re: Anyone a Martin Fan? I would love to have a Martin. They are by far my favorite acoustics. I will own one someday. |

Re: Anyone a Martin Fan? I'm not a Martin "fan" per se (as I don't prefer them exclusively over another brand, I just happened to fall for my particular guitar), but I'm absolutely in love with mine, a MC-16GTE. The thing, strung up with phosphor bronze Elixirs, sounds gorgeous. I just strum it and I feel happier. |

Re: Anyone a Martin Fan? I love Martin acoustics... probably the best out there (apart from Gibson acoustics)! A litle dear, though, but the best nonetheless. Would love a D-28. Gibson J200 tempting too. |

Re: Anyone a Martin Fan? D-35. It is my only acoustic. It is a great sounding guitar, but I hardly ever play it since getting my Jem. |

Anyone a Martin Fan? As much as I love my Ibanez guitars, I am a huge Martin acoustic fan. I've owned D-28's and 00-series as well as a Clapton Signature. I recently acquired a Roger McGuinn Signature series HD-7. This is a limited-run D-45 with TWO G-strings! (octave apart) It's awesome- you can sound like a 12-string, or fingerpick like a regular 6 string. Mine is number 220 and is signed inside by C.F. Martin IV, and by Roger McGuinn (The Byrds). ![]() ![]() Anyone else a Martin fan? -jemaholic |
