Re: Ibanez Patrick Rondat Model (video link) I believe the price quoted on the Patrick Rondat model is a list price and not actual retail price. If you took the MSRP on a RG3120+LR baggs Edge Peizo trem+Dimarzio pups, the total list price would probably get you into that ball park. However, regardless of how much it costs in USD, prices tend to be generally more expensive in Europe and if they actually sold the Patrick Rondat model over here it'll probably be less than a Jem anyways. |

Re: Ibanez Patrick Rondat Model (video link) The last batches of RG3120's that I saw were $1499 US retail (I don't rememeber list price- maybe $1999?). I can't understand why the double edge pro bridge would add $500 more to the price and the name brand pups adding another $200? That would roughly bring the retail price equal to the VWH's price here in the States if it was broke down that way. |

Re: Ibanez Patrick Rondat Model (video link) Seeing that it's essentially an RG3120 with real dimarzios and a piezo bridge, it makes sense that it's about as much as a Jem. It just seems stupidly expensive because the european pricing isn't exactly on par with the US pricing. |

He sounds like a good player and has some cool features and pick up choice on his axe. Maybe you will be able to get different colors (wishful thinking I'm sure). Ibanez need to have another piezo double edge trem with two hums and a maple top on a mahogany body that doesn't require a second mortgage. 2500 is ridiculous. Not sure what the exchange rate to US dollars would be but I'm sure it is close to the 2500 mark (just a guess). Waaaaaaay too much. I'll order a JC before I shell out that kind of dough for a Prestige
