All 6 stringers eh? No intentions of a 7 or baritone to go with the 6

I imagine it would be far more diffcult (or maybe not?) to have it like that but it would be 3 different guitars in one. Just a thought.

I can't wait to see it starting to take shape when you get it going. Sounds like a cool summer project

It's about 7 pounds. It's also top heavy so with the neck, it has a tendency to slide down a bit.

Yeah, it will have three necks, all standard, no 12. I need to start working out more before I begin so as not to pull any muscles, lol.

Yeah, the only safe way this could ever be dropped is either headstock first, thus killing the neck, but hopefully saving the body, or, butt first, which would hopefully ONLY shove the strap knob up into the body. Other than that, if this thing falls over or is dropped on either side, it's pretty much done for. Had to give my kids new rules about it, lol.

Not really liking the Duncan so as I was rooting through the surplus stock I found an old D'Marzzio from the 80's that is wax dipped I may put in. But it's white, so I may have to paint it or something.

hmm i won't dare to hold that in my hands...
if u drop it or whatever... depending on where it lands... it won't walk away with just a ding... if u get wut i mean xD

You are going from a light guitar to a VERY heavy guitar. Talk about extremes

I'm assuming you are building it with all three necks.
